Meet the team

Jennifer is Roothold's Managing Director. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development from Stellenbosch University and is a multi-award-winning science journalist.

Twané joined as a writer and editor in July 2023. A former academic, she has been published in two prominent journals. She holds a Master's degree in Zoology from the University of Pretoria.

Ania joined Roothold as a writer and editor in March 2024. She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and brings to her work a combination of scientific rigour and an easy writing style.

 With more than 30 years of experience in publishing, Stacey's passion for design is visible through her high-quality portfolio and attention to detail. Stacey joined us as a design associate in early 2025.
